In the beginning of the page, under the picture up there, you see beside other things "profile" just go there, change everything you need then submit! But there are somethings that you can't change such as username... Hope I've been helpfull!

Hey guys. So I have a picture that I'm trying to upload as my avatar. I made it 80 x 80, but for some reason when I try to compress it to smaller than 6 KB it won't work. Therefore I can't upload it. At the same time, I'm wondering how some people have avatars that are bigger than 80 x 80 and a lot larger than 6 KB. Thanks! :)

If you're using Photoshop, click on Save For Web It'll help you compress the file much smaller...you can see the file size at the bottom left when you click on Save for Web. I can't answer your 2nd ques though, sorry. If you still can't get it to work, you can send the pic to me & I'll see what I can do. easy peasy

Can anyone tell me the specific details on how to get a picture frame forum for being a member??? Is that what those pictures on the side are called? Do they cost anything? Do you have to have my space in order to get one? PLEASE HELP! $kelly$

the pictures on the side are called avatars. no they dont cost anthing, no you dont need a myspace in order to get one. and I dont understand your first question :?

Hi Kelly! I'll try to answer your question :) First find an avatar that you like and save it on your computer. It can be any picture that is about 100x100 pixels in size. Some people at pf make them to share with others and they can be found in this thread: http://pictureframe.greatboard.com/viewtopic.php?t=51 In order to use your avatar here, you need to upload it from your computer to a photo-hosting website. You can get a free account at photobucket.com, that's the one most people here use. When you have the picture at photobucket, click on "profile" at the top of the page ^^^ and scroll down to the avatar control panel. Copy and paste the URL under the photo at photobucket into the box next to "link to off-site avatar". Then your avatar should show up here! Don't be afraid to ask more questions, I'm pretty slow at computers myself so I had to ask too at first. Oh, and aim is AOL instant messenger :wink:
