Okay that's my review....wait you want more okay okay fine fine :lol:
So where do I begin, before or after I shit my pants lol Lets put it this way, on scale of 1-100, I would say this concert was A FUCKING 1,000. I've been to a lot of concerts now, and trust me I am not saying this because its John but truly that is THE best concert I have ever been to. I've seen some rock shows, he was more rock then anything else I have ever see. I knew he was good but I didn't how FUCKING good he was. I mean seriously I don't know what I can say, that was the loudest show, loudest crowd, most ball busting thing I have witness. I have never seen anyone worked a stage like John. There is no one who can work a crowd like he does...NO ONE. I have to say that even though I knew he was an amazing guitar player, and I thought after seeing the Trio I got a sense of what he could do live, BULLSHIT, this show was 100 times more rock then the trio, and this was just him.
The band was kick ass, and to finally hear those songs live was more then a feeling I can describe. To finally hear No Such Thing after6 years was probably one of the most profound thing I could feel right now, but all the songs were just breath taking. I have to say there are some people who are just better live then there records and he is just BETTER live.
He was very engergic, he was talking A LOT, and cracking jokes and just put on one damn GREAT show.
Ben Folds was really great to, I'm not a big fan of there music, but live they are entertaining. Ben kept jumping everywhere and he's a big dork..LOL at one point he climbed on top of his piano and starting to get the crowd to sing.LOL He's an amazing piano player though I was really impressed by how they rocked out I didn't know how one person could just slam it on the piano.
Some highlights from the show, John did read some of the signs, There was a girl who was from Venezuela, she had a sign that said "I'm from Venezuela" and I have to admit I don't remember a lot of things John said, everything was happening so fast some of it I just didn't catch, but of course he said something funny. I'm sure Mel can celebrate for me lol
There was also a sign that wasn't on the floor but on the side of the arena, and these two girls had a sign that said Threesome? (with a question mark) I was like omg I wouldn't even dare writing something like that, there are just some fans who have balls lol A lot of the fans at this show kinda frighten me, I thought I was a crazy fan but daammnn I was surprise to just see how crazy people got LOL
Someone also at one point threw a blow up ball on stage that said could you play Wheel, John is like, maybe in the next 3 days.. :lol:

Waiting on the World to Change (This song NEVER and will NEVER get old and I am so happy I got to hear it live, its better live then on the cd and watching it on tv. SO MUCH better live.

Gravity BEST guitar solo. end of story, this is by far the best song live for him, even more then any other song, you can't appreciate this song till you see it live if you haven't. Even though I saw it at the trio show it was unknown to me and I didn't appreciate it till I saw it live a year later. I can't even get it into my head how in the hell he plays guitar like that I just can't.

Lifeline > Love Soon > Man on the Side > Comfortable Oh...Dear....My jaw dropped when he said I'm going to do some songs in chronicle order by when I wrote them when I was going to school here in Boston. When he started to sing Lifeline I was like OMG, but when he start with Love Soon man that was crazy. Man On the Side was great and when Comfortable started the shit hit the roof. Again not one of my favorite songs but live its so great.
I'm Gonna Find Another You Again there are just some songs that are good on record but nothing compare to being live, this song I find I like a lot better.
I was very happy with the set list, I just only wish he played Heart Of Life, but maybe I will get it tonight *cross fingers*

For some reason a few of the pictures may seem like I was farther back then what I really was, but trust me I was REALLY close, I could see John dead on.

This was really cool, at one point John was trying to act cool for the Boston people and say something with sports to impress them..LOL he then did like a mumble thing and was like "john just stay cool and act like an athlete" then this pop up in the background lol
So yeah the rest are in that photobucket link, there are tons so if you get bored and you actually want to go through 8 pages of pictures knock yourself out lol I did get some videos more then I expected to, I didn't shoot long ones I didn't want to get in trouble but I got love soon, man on the side, some of dreaming with a broken heart, comfortable and a bit of the intro to Vultures. I think that's it, OH and I didn't get any meerch, I didn't want to drag stuff all over Boston, If I wasn't seeing him again tonight I would have but I thought it will be easier when I see him tomorrow and all I have to do is drag stuff to my car and not in a subway lol
