help a fellow portuguese Mayer Fan
I know this is a strange thing to ask, but i really would love to see John in concert so...can anybody that's going to one of his show have a sign saying something like: "they want you in portugal"? I would be more than thankful. It's just than he doesn't sell that many records here but there's a big group of fans that would love to see him live. Thanks.

everytime I go there I tell people I like John and no one knows who this man is lol. is there really a fanbase??

I think there's a lot of people that likes him but doesn't say it . Since he never came I think the concert would be a great sucess. People want to see him live, specialy since continuum, and now that we have youtube we can see what we are missing =P I think a smaller venue would be perfect and would probably sold out. It's just that good artist sometimes aren't apreciated here, if you look at the top selling cds you would see the most ridiculous things. I can't complain in therms of concerts because we have great artists and bands that come here but there's people that i realy love like John, Jason Mraz, Pete Yorn (and the list goes on) that don't even think about coming here because they don't sell that many records.

i'm also portuguese and i'm in the same position as you. in the other day i sended an e-mail to John's myspace, asking to him to come here, but i not that sure that he's gonna read it. it would be perfect if he came here and play in Lisbon coliseum :D

I would change the sign to "they want you to come to Portugal in the SUMMER" so I can go. heehee. I'm going again this summer to Lisbon in july!

yeah I enjoy going. I prefer the Azores better though *cough* I'm portuguese if it wasnt obvious...lol My parents immigrated to Canada before I was born :P

uhuh another "portuguese" xD i'm portuguese and never went to Azores xD but, i prefer other citys then lisbon. it has too much pollution and it's too confusing. but i like lisbon. do you know how to contact Mayer? i really want to say to him to come here. i'm done with waiting :anxious:

I'm from Cascais. And I agree with cookie-zero. Any time of the year is perfect. I never went to Azores either but I would love too, it seems such a peaceful island...
