Here goes nothing...
I'm in poetry this semester. We don't have to write poetry, but we can for extra credit or just for fun. I used to write frequently, stories, poems, limricks, sci-fi, etc. I've been getting back into it and decided I should just put my stuff out there... I'm a pretty shy person when it comes to this stuff. I'll post it anyway. Oh, and my professor asked me today if I'd ever considered minoring in Literature... That made me feel good. :) We are dicussing strong-stree rhythms with aliteration. These were two I quickly jotted down in class. -Accident- The heavy heart - holds hatred, Its deflated dreams - die in the dark. The future fades - a final fairwell, An inexplicable instance - now inevitably inturred. -MDM -Company Party- A feverish force, - finishing first, A midnight mascarade, - making monsters. Sounds swirl, - superfluous statements, Drunken diatribes, - destroy destiny. -MDM More to come in the future!
