History of PF (for newbies and oldies to remember the times)
Alright, so you might think this forum has only been around for a few days, but thats not it at all! This is just to inform and kinda remind ourselves it didn't all start here. March 2003: Someone gets severely annoyed by MSM, and decides another forum needs to exist. April 2003: Hosted by hold-on.org (Jen's old domain, friend of Dora), PF is born! Juliane and lots of way back then members joined. Back then, PF was an invision board! May 2003: PF crashes, Dora has to restart PF, with PHPbb! Around June 2003: Dora finds a new host, icecreambox.com, Jen's domain eventually dies. August/September 2003: Steph, Kiya and regulars join. ~December 2003: iceceambox.com runs out of bandwdith because PF is too big! It is moved to fanphilia.com (Steph #2's domain). Between august and december 2003: Cliques at PF are born, the Sexy Seven, and the Naughty Nine. We were few, but became GREAT friends. March 2004: Steph #2's server experiences many outages and Dora decides we need a new home! March 2004: Kendra and Dora team up and plan a surprise on everyone: Kendra buys sea-of-faces.org and Dora works hard on backing PF up and moving it, set to open April 1, APRIL FOOLS! April 2004: Everyone is shocked because they think PF will be closed down forever. Wrong! PF is re-born in a new home. Between then and now: People have met, people have arguyed, became best friends, created long lasting friendships. Thats what keeps this place alive so long. September 2005: After countless problems with the host, there is one big crash and PF is lost. This after reaching over 1000 members. Dora decides we need to move on, and decides a free host (that backs up properly!) is needed, and easier to maintain (not to mention costs less), PF is moved to a very nice new home, greatboard.com

Great post. I missed the early days, but was around for some good times ... I miss the active days when the veterans still dominated the forum. Oh well, the times they are a-changin'. Hehe Steph GUESS WHAT ... PUDDING!

awwww everyone..can we sing The way we were Memoriesssss Like the corners of my mind misty watercolored memories of the way we were...... scattered PICTURES of the smiles we left behind smiles we gave to one another for the way we were can it be that it was all so simple then or has time rewritten every line If we had the chance to do it all again Tell me, would we Could we Memories are so beautiful and yet whats to painful to remember we simply choose to forget and it's the laughter we will remember whenever we remember the way we were ok someone remind me not to get mushy and all verklempt again

Yeah i met lindsay, she is john indeed :lol: I still say random things not as much anymore i lost my touch :oops: :cry: LOL i'll get it back you wait and see..lol
