Hurricane Wilma
This could be the very worst hurricane ever to hit the Atlantic/Gulf of Mexico. My parents live in SW Florida on the coast. They are evacuating tomorrow morning. Would you please all keep them in your thoughts? They are 85 and 79, and not in the best of health as those close to me know. Gawd, where is the GOOD news??? :(

ugh not again, i swear these are getting so crazy, i have never seen so many hurricans in one year. I know this is hurrican season but its not like this every year is it? this is the first time i have seen them reported on. its crazy. I'll keep your parents in my prayers tracy *hugs* :( where are are they heading to?

will do trace. definately. and the reason for the # of hurricanes this year is the water temperature. it sucks bad.

not to meantion i read that this one is heading up towards new england they think. eek. oh well i'm not worried, i live like 45 mintues from the ocean so its not like i would get affected all that much. but you never know. anyone at hampton beach, now that's a different story, they have MAJOR storms there.

fingers crossed for their safety! when is this hurricane supposed to hit US soil?

I think by late Saturday, early Sunday morning. My parents only booked til Sunday a.m. And the hotel they are staying at has no vacancies for Sunday night 'cause all the people are evacuating. Scary. Between the bird flu and all these natural disasters, it makes you wonder what the hell is going on.
