Yep, it was thanksgiving last year...he wore a striped scarf and did daughters....anybody have a guess what the trio might perform this year?

Maybe "Who Did You Think I Was" and "Gravity." One upbeat, one slower =p

i think you only get one song on letterman ;) but maybe (hopefully) for john they'll make an exception? my guess is WDYTIW, since it's the single, maybe 'daughters' though so ppl don't get confused LOL

I highly doubts its going to be daughters, he doesn't need to promote that song anymore and i think John is done with that song too, he's sanged it enough. At this point it could be ANY song, so i guess we'll wait an see, can't wait!

i hope it won't be 'daughters' either - come to think of it, he already performed an electric version of daughters on the grammys so he probably won't do it on letterman. my money's on 'good love,' 'vultures,' or 'try' - but then again like steph said it could be anything! i can't wait to be surprised :wub:

New tv appearance: Late Night with Conan O'Brien NBC Television Network Date: Saturday - December 24, 2005 Time: 12:35/11:35c AM Musical guest John Mayer Trio. This would actually be the evening of Friday 12/23, but it's after midnight. Other upcoming appearances: Nov.22, Good Morning America, ABC, and American Music Awards, ABC Nov.24, Late Show with David Letterman, CBS
