Did y'all just see his blog? "I'm going to play at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA on December 20, 21 and 22. Like I used to. All acoustic, myself and Dela. I'm trying to get Scotty to sell merch. I'm going to play chronologically each night, touching on different songs from the beginning of my career (then) to the end of the beginning of my career (now). I hope to play every song I've ever written over those 3 days. Every one I can remember, at least. Not sure how ticketing works yet. I know that L-83 members will get first dibs at a handful of the tickets, but beyond that, I have no idea. The place holds 170 or so people, but don't worry, you'll hear it. It's gonna be a very cool December." If that's true....Oh my lord. :)

If this is the real deal...there's a chance I might get to go. I will not let myself become overly excited only to be let down...Cannot do that.

At the boston show last month he talked about walking on newbury street too. I love how he just talks about boston. Newbury street btw if you have never been to boston, is one of the most gorgous streets in boston. Its allll like art gallerys, cafe's, and the scenary is just amazing. BTW there is a resturant, not kidding you guys, called Stephanie's On Newbury(plug for ya and for those you who don't know me my name is stephanie ha). I wonder if he's ever eatten there. at little picture i took. Infact i took that picture on my first trip to boston ever, when i went down to see John at the instore performance :wink:

*sigh* i feel acutally all warm inside when he talks about how much he loves Boston. He talks about it with such passion like i do, cause its just an amazing city. Its funny, the last time i went to boston, i was on the subway, and infact i think i was coming from the show at the avalon. I was sitting down, and i was thinking, my god, at one point John was probably sitting in this very same seat, going to and from where ever he was going. Its just such a sureal feeling everytime i go down there knowing that John at one point walk those streets and was on the subway, and i can say i've been into the college he went. Its just really nice walking the same path that someone you admires so much once did. If that sounds kinda creepy, i don't mean it to, in all honestly i wouldn't have evern fell in love with that city if it wasn't for John. But i've been pretty much EVERYWHERE in that city and its just a place that everyone should at least visit once in there life time.

Honestly, I sorta feel much of the same when I'm downtown in Atlanta. I understand that. :)

I think everyone across the country that lives where John's been or live kinda feels like they have a part of him there. Its kinda of a comforting thing acutally. i dunno why. I'm sure the New York fans here have that feeling too :wink:

AHHH...I can't believe he's coming to Atlanta. I leave for home Dec 21st, so hopefully I'll get to see the Dec 20th show!!!!! FYI...Eddie's Attic normally is a 21 and up place. Sometimes they have earlier shows in the night that are 18 and up..Then a later one which is 21 and up...It will be interesting to see how this all works out!
