I am a gum junkie. So much that I chew it until my jaw gets sore. Weird, I know. I know it's so bad for you.

Funny story... Ben tells me at breakfast today that he dreamed he was a teacher, lost a tooth, and spit it out of his mouth. I didn't think he had a loose tooth recently, but when I went in his room and moved his pillow, there was the tooth, he really did spit it out in his sleep! He saves all his teeth in a special box instead of giving them to the tooth fairy, so he was quite relieved that the tooth fairy didn't find it before we did, since it was sort of under his pillow

  Oh my god that is funny!!! I once read that the dream interpretation for teeth falling out is someone regretting something they said and wishing they could take it back.

What does it mean when teeth ACTUALLY fall out during the dream? You regret eating too much Halloween candy, maybe? I can't believe he didn't even know it was loose, maybe all the candy eating, and subsequent tooth brushing loosened it up :?

That is so hilarious...be glad he didn't swallow it like William did with his first. I was so upset because the tooth fairy had nothing to trade!!!!

Home Wife- 11-02-2005

Aww, poor Will! The first one he lost too, how disappointing. We've had a couple of tooth mishaps....One of Anna's went down the bathroom sink drain, and Ben lost one while getting on an amusement park ride and then cried the whole time he was on the ride because we couldn't find his tooth :(

My MIL is having surgery in a few hours...send some good thoughts her way! Even though Halloween is over, I thought I'd share a few pictures since I just got them off the camera last night: The cake Anna decorated with Milano cookies and pumpkins: Anna's Jack Skelington pumpkin she carved: My creepy hands punch I made for Anna's party:

Those are so good!!! Oh, and prayers for your MIL. Let me see what I can "brew up" ha ha ha as far as pics from Halloween...

Hey, Laur, We will send good thoughts your way! Great pics!! Thank Anna again for the cake idea. I didn't think to put lettering on the milanos (great touch!), but we finished our Halloween cake last night. I made ours with yellow cake--added red and yellow food coloring to make it orange--and chocolate frosting, and it was cute, too. So funny to find this tooth conversation here today! I broke a tooth yesterday, and now I wonder if it was something I said that I need to take back :) Fortunately, I had a dental appt. for a checkup yesterday afternoon anyway, but I was really having a pity party by the time I got home :( Jo

Just got a call that the surgery went well and she's already been up and around, thanks for the thoughts and prayers! Tracy, your kids looked great! What fun costumes, I love how you can just see Will's eyes in there! Love your decorations and pumpkins too! Our Halloween cake was a carrot cake, yours sounds good too, Jo! We put candles in the empty space in the middle, because it was also a birthday cake!

My MIL is having surgery in a few hours...send some good thoughts her way! aww that's great the surgery went well. i gotta ask though, what's MIL?

Home Wife- 11-03-2005

Mother in Law...the first time I saw MIL I had no idea what it was either! She's 78, and going in the hospital at that age can be a scary thing...it was back surgery, she's been in terrible pain so we hope she'll be feeling much better now :D Thanks, Steph!
