ok embarrasing "mum" story, we were doing our groceries today where I work, and one of the guys I work with was sitting out front waiting for his dad I guess to pick him up, so as my mum put things through the checkout I went over and sat and talked to him, anyways, there was my sister (6 years old) my brother (4) and my cousins (4 and 7) running around the shopping centre being loud and noisy acting like it was a playground, anyways I explained to him they were my brother and sister, and my cousins, and that they werent mine, he mis-heard me and asked if my brother was mine and im like NO!!!!!
ANYWAYS as we were leaving my aunty told my cousin (the 4 year old) to go to her mummy and told her to call me mummy so at the top of her voice she is calling out mummy and jumping all over me.
I was SOOOOOOOO embarrased!
Thankgod I am working with him tomorrow so I can clear things up

That used to happen to me, Kiya, when I took my niece places when I was 16!!!
People would shake their heads like, "knocked up pretty young, eh?" and I would LOUDLY say, Aunt Tracy loves you!!!!

I was a mom before I was an aunt so I never had that problem
So, I may have been a bit too eager to volunteer at school this year. I'm room representative so I get to call parent volunteers for parties and field trips, I'm spending every Tuesday afternoon in the school library checking books in and out, and every other Friday with the 3rd graders in computer lab. And I just finished tape-recording myself reading a book for the listening center. I read two actually, a Bailey School kids and a Magic Tree House...you familiar with those, Tracy? Ben read all the MTH books the summer before 2nd grade, he loved them. I was actually considering substitute teaching this year too, but that might push me over the edge. I would be getting paid though....might still do it later, like after Christmas.
Right now all I can think about is JM3 on Tuesday! And Tink is arriving sometime Monday...might not see her till the concert though, she's got a friend from MSM coming with her. I can't stand it... only 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm too excited :D :D :D
