Hey! How are you? And how are your parents doing since Wilma?

I think they are pretty good, thanks! They are heading back down this morning and their answering machine kicked on, so they have power!!! My uncle may not have fared so well...he lives in a mobile home in Naples. He did evacuate, though. I'm doing well, thanks! Cold, but well!

Glad your parents are okay...I don't know anyone who lives in Florida. I'm cold too, my hands are like ice! I think I need to get up and run around the house to warm up!

I hate rain, too. It makes me sleepy. But I did go to the gym and burned 500 big ones. But I ate a Baby Ruth bar. Damn you, Halloween candy!!!!!

Halloween candy is evil :wink: So is the fact that they put it in the store 2 months before Halloween so you have to buy it 10 times because everybody eats it before Halloween even gets here :roll: But yay for going to the gym, Tracy! Tim got me an mp3 player for my birthday and I'm supposed to be motivated to get out and walk, getting a dose of John with my exercise, but I haven't done it yet :oops: Would help if it wasn't raining EVERY DAY!!!!!

I know. I am so tired of rain. I ordered bulbs and I haven't had a chance to get them all in the ground. I am a SUCKER for candy corns....and I didn't go to the gym either this morning. Baaad Tracy. *insert shameful look*

I can usually resist candy corn, but we had those pumpkin shaped candy, same thing as candy corn, and they were pretty yummy. Made a cake for my brother's birthday Sunday and Anna used them to decorate it. There was a pumpkin patch and a graveyard with Milano cookie tombstones. It was cute!

Yea, it's turned all cold here, too! We had to let the kitty we've been feeding on our back porch in the last two nights. I think she's homeless now and she's sweet, but the problem is our other two cats hate her. Bought two bags of halloween candy last weekend, but tried to get the kind my husband and daughter like better than I do so it won't last long :wink: Jo

We've fed homeless cats at our back door this time of year too...it's so sad to leave them out in the cold but we have one cat in the house who hates all other cats, so it would not be a happy situation :lol:

Are you the one who put the milano cookies on stage? The one's John KICKED off?

Oh, I like that pumpkin and milano cookie cake idea, Laur! I gotta' try that :) Sounds much more appetizing than the kitty litter cake. Jo

Yeah, I don't know if my brother would have appreciated a kitty litter cake for his birthday. Could really turn a person off to tootsie rolls :lol:
