myspace help!!
ok- i'm a newbie w/ myspace and i have a few Q's for the computer geeks(heehee j/k) -How do I get one of john's video's to play on my profile? And does it cost any $ ? Do you have 2 download it?? -How do i add john 2 my friends list? -How do i customize my background?

I can answer the last two for ya...lemme log on myspace really quick... *type type type* Alrighty, for the addition of John to your friend's list, go to his page, and see the square underneath his display picture on the left side? It's headed as "Contacting John Mayer". In that box, click "Add to Friends". It's the second one down in the left column. Then myspace will ask "Are you sure?" or something like that. Of course you are! Now, for the editing for your space, there are a lot of sites that offer layouts. The one I recently used is http://www.whateverlife.com - they have premade layouts that are really cool! Pick one you like, copy the code, and place it in the "About Me" section of your editing place on myspace. Hope this helps!

oh... a few more quetions......... -what if i want to put a pic of john(in my browsed folder) as my background??? How do i do that?? -how do i make my display name? Is it the "Pick Your Name/URL" thing cause if it is it keeps on telling me there's a error!!!!! Ahhh this myspace is annoying!! :evil: sorry for all the questions

MyGen Code has fairly easy to understand layout generator, even if you're new to html coding. Just click on the "Create Profile" icon on the top right, and you'll solve everything even your background question. However, note that you would still have to host the picture to the web, using image hosts like Photobucket or Tinypic. This is important because you don't want the picture turning into a red . I'm not quite sure about your 2nd question. Is it the Username or Display name that you're having trouble with? Once you pick a username, for example u picked "down2thewire", your myspace page will be known as : http://www.myspace.com/down2thewire and CANNOT BE CHANGED THEREAFTER. Your display name, can be changed when u click the 6th tab on your edit my profile page. ahh..that was kinda long huh? hope it answered ur questions though.

yes thank you! actually, right after i posted that 2nd question, i figured it out when i went back to myspace :-? so now everything has turned out great and i have john's video of City Love(live) on my profile!!!! :x it's so awesome!!! n/e way i think i might just keep my background like it is because it goes along w/ my display name. thanks again for ur help! -kelly
