It is epilepsy, they said they could tell by the electrical activity on the eeg. I guess the two eeg's she had before just weren't able to pick it up like this one did. It's not the big, grand mal seizures that you usually think of with epilepsy, but there are many kinds. And if the medication can control them, there's a good chance she will outgrow it by the time she's an adult. lol we both said Tracy's card made us smile...it's true though! I really did smile walking back from my mailbox...mail from pf friends is special :D Glad to hear the concert was so great! Good luck on your test next week...do you have a test in your class Sunday too?

Aww, I love sending cards....glad you both liked 'em. Wow, they got there in record time...I think we mailed them Saturday. Way to go, post office!!! Lauri, I am so sorry to hear the diagnosis, but on the other hand, a little relieved that they finally HAVE a diagnosis. And wouldn't that be wonderful if she outgrows them? Not IF, when. :) How is Anna taking the news? Does the med seem to help? I will continue to keep her in my thoughts and send good healing vibes her way.... Gah, is anyone done their shopping?? I need more time, darn it!!! What is at the top of Ben and Anna's list this year??? How about Steph? What does little Steph want from Santa??? :lol:

Tracy, I don't know if you saw my post on the previous page, but she's starting out on a really low dose of the medication and we have to increase it gradually so it will probably be a month before we see if it works. No change in the seizures so far, but she does seem to be having some side effects already. Hoping they go away as she gets used to it :-( Anna's took the diagnosis really well...in March when the other doctor told us it was epilepsy (before he changed his mind), she was much more upset. I think it helped that we were told a month ago that these actually are seizures, because before we were so sure they weren't. And also it's just good to have a diagnosis, like you said. And I keep thinking that it could be something even worse. I need more time to shop too! Anna wants the Harry Potter Scene It game, Pirates dvd, and anything Nightmare Before Christmas. Ben wants animal things....he collects those Schleich animal figures, they sell them at Target now, and he also has clay, chocolate covered pretzels, and a Target gift card on his list :lol: Hoping to get a tree this weekend, and bake some cookies!

I'm done with school, and tomorrow is my last day at work before i go on break, i'll have Friday, Sat, Sun, Monday, and Tuesday off. I'm excited.

Yeah I'm happy to have some time off, I need it. Tomorrow they are putting together a special lunch for everyone, so I don't have to pack my lunch for once. I think I failed my final for one of my classes, oh well I don't really care, I blew those classes off anyway, I'm just glad I'm done with them, what a headach they were. :roll:

Sooo I ended up getting a call from this college I requested information from, but I'm not going to consider going there. It's an hour from here and that is soooo not going to work. The only school that is here that has a full photography program is the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, that's it. That's kinda my last line I have to play at this point, if that doesn't work out, I really don't know what I am going to do, and to tell you the truth I dunno if even THAT is even going to work. At times I'm like OH YEAH I so can do this, but then seconds later I'm like, what if this is like everything else I've run into my life, disappointments. Its not stopping me from doing it, but If I can come up with a good payment plans so I can afford It, I will. But I feel Its something I'll like and put in the effort. Oh well we'll see.

I figure as long as people get them between Christmas and New Year's, it's all good :lol: Tracy, you've been sick? Me too! I've had a cough for almost 3 weeks now! It's driving me, and everyone around me, crazy!

I got it yesturday, I was playing with it all last night and this morning. I was showing my mom and her boyfriend all the awsome features haha. Its soooo easy now having it in my car, instead of all my cds and travling with it is going to be so much fun haha. I even was able to put in some John interviews. aww glad you got my card, I sent everybody's stuff out later this year didn't have any time to do it earlier. oh well.
