Neewbie...yay! So that means don't hurt me! Hehe. k....well i was just wondering if anyone knew some tips and tricks to meeting John? I'm going to the memphis show and I'm getting there around 3:00 and the show starts at 8:00 and my mom is going searching for his tourbus. lol (tennie bopper move) But i'm seriously dying to meet him (as I'm sure all of us are) so yeah. Any advice?

to be honest, I dunno how your chances are gonna go....not these days anyway. I mean when he was down here last november he walked straight past a small group of us waiting outside for him, none of us went all teeny and screamed we just stood there waiting patiently hoping he'd have a few photos or whatever but all we got was a hello. After the gig he hid under a hooded jumper and crouched down low in a tarago van (which he got into out the back of the venue where the general public couldnt get to) so we missed out altogether. but if you are one of the lucky ones all I can suggest is waiting by the artists entry/exit door. but you gotta know where that is....normally out the back somewhere haha...and be there at the right time.

aawww that sucks!! i hope he doesn't pull a Jesse McCartney move and ignore us completely 3 times in a row :-x ...and I have no idea where the door is! lol I'll jsut have to go searching 'cause I've never been there. Maybe i'll get lucky and find his tourbus on the way up there (we're both coming from arkansas) or something. hehe Does he usually stay on his tourbus or hotels? hhmmm...... i wonder.

Well when he was here in australia he stayed in hotels.....but im pretty sure being in his home country he'll probably do the tour bus thing...so you might get lucky that way? oh wow jesse ignored you? When Mayer was here in nov he was on a tv show the same night that jesse was and apparently jesse was really nice and approachable and happy to do things for the fans but mayer left pretty much straight away...weird

i'm guessing hes going to be on his tourbus too 'cause he has 3 shows back to back: AR, Memphis, then Oklahoma so i'm guess he will be on his bus. I'm just praying I get lucky. yeah... we waited outside Jesse's tourbus and he got on got off and got on and didn't say ANYTHING to us and we knew it was him even though his hood was up. :/ that punk lol that Mayer kid better learn to RECGONIZE!! hehe jk maybe i can get a nice glimpse. :>

Sometimes if you wait at the venue, depending on time and etc, John might not have the time. And some venues are not accessable Sometimes it just takes being at the right place at the right time.

Soundchecks are early in the morning/afternoon and you can't get into those, you have to have a special pass. If you have seats to the show, you don't have to worry about standing in line since you have seats, just get there before the show starts, people don't like those we come late, even I get annoyed by those who come in late. As for meeting him, like Kiya says, he's not as assessable as he use to be, at this point in his career its a touch and go, you'd have to be lucky. I met him because I went to one of his instore performances, so you have to choose your moments. But standing outside I guess could work, you can also try and get backstage passes but those are extreamly hard to get unless you won them in a contest or know someone. *shrugs* Plus some venus/clubs will not allow people to hang around the door, they will only let you line up like an hour or two before the show, but again I dunno you can try get there early to see if you can get to his bus but if he's got security around him that might be hard to.

I am now though! lol But i won the tickets anyway so i still wouldn't have been able to get a pass. i am seriously defeated:< k my tenny bopperness is done.

btw-- what all kind of merchandise does he sell and how much is it? I'm doing my budgeting, lol.
