I have a feeling that the bigger and well known celebrites who go onto that site, its harder to believe its them, yet all these other bands who are kinda local and no so know they do post on there blog and you know its them. I don't get that, bigger celebrites can't have a myspace? then again going back to, the more well known you are the more people are going to pretend to be you. But John Mayer's name was already taken from myspace so he couldn't have signed up for that name unless he really did get myspace to get his name back and that is a totally different' profile then the other one.

^ so there are 2 JM myspaces?
i'm confused lol
and i don't wanna say it's impossible it's him, there are just so many posers out there..

I do believe it's him, the way he says things makes me believe it's him, but then again I was fooled once that another person in a myspace site was John Mayer, I even talked to him and the way he said things sounded a lot like John. Who knows it could have been him but I doubt it. It's either a cruel joke or its john, BUT I do believe it's him just something about it that I have to believe its him. :)

i think the page with "his" blog is the page with just john mayer stuff. and the page that we SHOULD all be talking about since this is it's thread (!!) is the john mayer trio FAN PAGE. the best fucking page for jm3 fans that i think i have seen. no offense. but it rocks. and the people who run it are super cool. i may be biased though, because im in the jm3fp top 8 on their friends list
http://www.myspace.com/johnmayer
Go check it out, I think it is him
That's actually the myspace we have been talking about, that's the one i think/know it is really him.
The JM3 page is great, that person is doing a great job keeping up to date on the information and songs.

There's another blog posted on "John's" myspace....interesting read about him getting a copy of TRY! Not to mention, he "leaks" a track from the album. It's gota be John. I'm all giddy over this!!
Edited: In case you guys don't have myspace here's what it says:
Just Got TRY!
It's only the fourth time in my life this has happened to me, and it's a thrill every time. Your record gets delivered, shrink wrap and all. It's quite a moment, I assure you. I shared this one with my doorman, who had never seen an artist open a box with spanking new CD and vinyl copies of his album. It's like Christmas morning, but without the impossibly high hopes.
Once in the elevator, I began to inspect the artwork. Dot pitch looks good, that vintage print effect works wonders, everything checks out. But there was one thing I had to know for sure about the CD. Something I've been on pins and needles since the masters were turned in.
Is the CD listen protected?
Lots of CDs use the new Listen Protection Technology, a proprietary encoding algorythm that prevents music fans from enjoying CDs anywhere humans are normally compelled to listen to music. It's a fabulous idea that will save the music industry for all involved. By the fans not being able to access any of the data on the CD, that data cannot be copied. It's simple logic, actually. At any rate, I am beyond pleased to learn that the CD is not listen protected. Here are some places you may enjoy listening to this disc.
on your computer
on your iPod
in your car
working out (I swear, this one works)
open MRI (check with your doctor)
Panda Express
Olivia Newton John's basement
a stakeout
The list is endless.
So TRY! is done. And I'm going to put some tracks up on this site over the coming days. They sound like I'm holding them up over the phone, but at least you can get a sense of what I'm up to. It's simple, really. 3 guys. Going at it. Hard. Wait... can I rephrase that?
MaryLuvsJohn- 11-10-2005
Jut saw it.
The last line is so funny!

I'm sold. I was hoping before that it was. In my meager opinion, I think this entry seals the deal. The opening the package and the experience description sounds like a first hand account. That is so cool and I'm thrilled that it IS NOT protected, so I can upload that mother to my computer as so as I get it and put it on the iPood (yes iPood, that's what I call it, I'm a dork). Wow, nice midnight surprise now I'm all hyper and excited about the album. Doo doo di doo doo ::chair-butt-dances:: Yeah-ya! Ok, I'm done now.
Wait but that last line about "3 guys. Going at it. Hard. Wait... can I rephrase that?" LOVE IT. Almost pissed myself laughing.

I think i'll put it on my iPod then go stand in line at Panda Express... see if it sounds better while looking at/eating Shrimp Chow Mein

OMG, this is great! I went to the blog the other night, and I just sat there mesmerized by the blinking
"online" token. I was too tongue-tied to post anything,
I just kept on reading the message. He's said in interviews that he's a mac nerd, so why shouldn't he show up online?--it is a fabulous site! I'm more stoked that ever for TRY :)

I feel the same way...I'm a little embarrassed to be that excited by it...but I can't help it!
