I step on a nail like that when I was little. Trust me its not a pleasant experience to have a nail go into your foot.
I did that too...followed by the unpleasant experience of a tetanus shot :-(
Thank goodness for those shots though...how scary that it can be so dangerous. Glad his daughter is okay.
