Lil' Washu- 04-14-2006

Persuasion by Jane Austen A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens Both for English class, of course. For pleasure, I'm reading the book Lust, which is part of a series called The Seven Deadly Sins, by Robin Wasserman.

joss- 04-14-2006

nice--How is Lust? is it an actual storyline or more philosophical :-?

Lil' Washu- 04-14-2006

It's a teen novel, so it's nothing too deep, but it kind of gives you the insight on how sex and obsession can get out of hand. The other books that are out right now are Envy and Pride, but since it's a series, it would be best to read them in order. It's quite interesting =) But if you're not into the whole 'young adult' thing, you probably wouldn't like these =(

Just finished Memoirs of a Geisha. Very impressive, although it reads to much like a cinderella story... I'm currently reading 'The Seymour Tapes', it's more of a report of what happened than a real story. But that's also what makes it so interesting... :)

Off_Broadway- 05-01-2006

Persuasion by Jane Austen A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens Both for English class, of course. I'm reading A Tale of Two Cities right now. I'm pretty sure that book is concentrated misery for anyone who reads it. Classics. :?

The Cell - Stephen King And The Broker - John Grisham

Sukiara- 05-02-2006

If I Should Die Before I Wake by Han Nolan It's about a sixteen year old neo-Nazi who gets injured in a motorcycle accident and ends up in a coma in a Jewish hospital. She drifts into the life of a Jewish girl living during the Holocaust. Pretty good so far. =)

bowlingchicky83- 05-16-2006

I finished The Broker last week, very good. Anyone who likes Grisham will like this. I have to wait for my dad to finish Cell, he took it while I was at NJIT for my last final... He's almost finished and then I'll be done that like a day later, I plan to read it overnight. It's awesome! Waiting for Stephen King to publish a new book is like waiting for JM to release a new record. That's how it is for me anyway...
