The 8 friends that are pictured in every profile, are they just random friends, or is it some sort of chart ? Haven't joined Myspace, and i'm not really planning to - it would be kinda lame only to join to be on John's friendlist, but then again i think this whole fan-connection via Myspace is great, maybe i should support it. meh ..

If you click the link pertaining to "top 8" (I believe there's a "change my top 8" option around the boxes) you'll be taken to a page where you can move your selections around. Basically all it is is a way for people to (I guess) identify whom their closest friends are, or whose blogs they lost enjoy--something along those lines. I love Myspace personally. Now, I must get to bed though. Too long... *clicks 'sign out'*

yeah you can modify your top 8; in fact john just added tink to it yesterday! he added some of his musician buddies to it yesterday i think, so he's been tweaking it. now he just needs to add the jm3 fan page ;)
