lol steph really didn't want you to miss that :lol: Anna's hospital date for the video eeg is set, December 8-13. I'm gettting nervous. This test should help determine if it is epilepsy, or non-epilepsy seizures. Then we'll know if we should proceed with a psycologist, or try medication. She had 3 episodes (I don't like to call them seizures) this morning before school, and one took longer than normal for her to come out of...she just stood there staring and not responding to me when she normally snaps right out of it when it's over. Scared the shit out of me so I decided to keep her home for a while just to make sure she was okay, then I took her to school for second period. She's still really afraid of it happening at school, but so far it hasn't. She didn't have them as often while she was off school last week...she was able to get over 11 hours of sleep most nights and that helped I think.

Hi gals! Guess what, I'm retired! So far I've been much busier than when I was working it seems, but that is OK with me. I'm supposed to go to the YMCA this morning with my mom. Lauri, I'll be thinking about you and Anna and I sure hope everything goes smoothly and you can figure out what is wrong. It might just be something like food allergies or a sleep disorder that can be corrected pretty easily. I sure hope so! Steph, I liked your joke about "stuffing" Tracy's computer with stuffing :) So now that we've recovered from our Thanksgiving meals, what are y'all planning for Christmas? Jo

Lauri I'm sure things will be ok, hopefully they will find something not to serious of course but something that will answer all the questions. Hey Jo, that's great your not working anymore wish I wasn't working bleh. ha. Ugh things have been nuts for me the past few weeks, that's why I haven't really been on, trying to finish up my term papers, I'm stressing about school (tracy knows about it kinda) Things are just, I dunno, I have alot of things I need to work out personally and figure out. Tommorrow is my Godsmack concert I can't $#@$# wait, to get ONE night off, away from everything. Then Friday I am taking a persona day off, I figured I don't want to go to work after the concert so I'll just take that day off and work on my presentation, which I am not looking forward to, at this point I don't care if I fail or not I just want these classes to be DONE.

Thanks for your thoughts, guys...Anna's kinda looking forward to the hospital time as a mini-vacation. But I'm sure it will get pretty old by day 2, no matter how many dvd's she brings to watch. I just hope we get there okay tomorrow morning...it's been snowing ALL day and is supposed to continue all night, so with the snow, and regular rush-hour traffic, the 40 minute drive to the hospital might take hours instead. Congratulations, Jo! Your retirement was timed perfectly....how nice to have all this time now to prepare for the holidays! Good luck with the rest of your school stuff, Steph....don't let the stress get to you, you'll make it! Have an awesome time at the concert tonight :-D

Hi Tracy! Anna was released early from the hospital, on Saturday afternoon, but I haven't had much time to be online the past couple days. They got enough info the first day/night to be sure that she has epilepsy, partial complex seizure-type, and she started taking medication right away. She's on a low dose right now, it needs to be increased gradually, and we might not know for a month if it works. Hoping this will be the right med/dose and she won't have side effects, so keep those good thoughts coming our way :) Thank you for the card! It made me smile when I got the mail...and reminded me how behind I am in my Christmas preparations :oops: Did I tell you my aunt and uncle passed thru your town a week ago Sunday? They were coming home from getting a tree, and said it was quite a quaint village...they want to go back again when things are open, and said it really isn't far from them at all :D Stephy, how was Godsmack? How are your classes going, are you done yet?

Tracy I got your card thank you so much it made me smile...mayer christmas that really did made me laugh out loud lol The concert was awsome, I was blown away by there performance, they know how to put on a great rock show. They had fire shooting out from the stage, they had such mind blowing prio technics and Sully the lead singer has just an amazing voice. Being there last show on the tour they pulled out brand new stuff just for it being a hometown, and they love playing in Manchester. I'd so go and see them again when they come back! My last class is the 19th, I just did my presenation tonight for my medical term class got that out of the way FINALLY then I have my final test next tuesday. I have my last class for human body sunday and that also is presentation. Man I will be glad when these classes are over with. So Lauri it is epilepsy she has? well at least now you know what you can do and hopefully the medication will work, maybe now things will settle down, at least hopefully.
