My name is Liz. I'm 19 years old, I work full time as a waitress at Pizzeria Unos and a Barista at Starbucks. I want to be a makeup artist, and I reside in Manhattan, and yep! I'm a John Mayer fan (Who would have guessed being this is a John Mayer board and all!). I'm excited about posting here, because I've had some really bad message board experiences with other artists/groups, but I feel like John Mayer fans are going to be the coolest. ;) Nice to meet you all! :D

I'm new too!
Hi, I'm new too. (I didn't want to make a new thread so I decided to add to this one). I'm 20 years old, I live in AL. I'm married and have two dogs. I work full time at an insurance company and am currently taking classes to become a Bridal Consultant. I've been a fan of John's since 2002. My husband and I were listening to the radio and heard JM was coming to town. I said that I wanted to go. At this time the only songs of his I knew were "YBIAW" and "No Such Thing". I didn't even own one of his CD's, but I love going to concerts and wanted to go. Two weeks before the concert my husband suprised me with tickets to the concert. (Something he has regretted doing ever since.)I went out and bought Heavier Things and couldn't take it out of my CD player. Two weeks later I seen him in concert and was totally hooked! I've seen him 4 more times since then and can't seem to get enough. I like Liz am excited to start posting here. From what I've read you all seem to be more accepting than other boards.

Aww, you could have made your own thread....welcome! It's so nice to have another married babe here! Like your husband with the tickets, my husband bought me Heavier Things which started my obsession.....he may regret it a little but he's still putting up with me :D
