I want to go so badly. What's the point of going to college in Newark if you don't take the subway to see shows in NYC? I'm going to try for a ticket tomorrow! :D

I effing HATE local-83 and it's inferior webpage construction/servers! I have my first class of the semester tomorrow at 8:30am so the fate of my concert viewing rests in the hands of my mom. There's some good news... :roll:

A little sad I have to miss this show. Work just won't allow it. Le Sigh. Hopefully there will more like this soon!

Okay. So Local-83 totally screwed me over by not letting me view their ticketing page. But I still managed to get tickets through TicketWeb. Phew. (Damn you, Local-83!)

AND I WON! he he. i'm absolutely on cloud 9 right now because i NEVER thought in a million years that i'd win. i got the phone call this morning at like 10 to 8 and they told me. the station has been replaying the clip alllll freakin day! i sound like i have a mouth full of cotton. seriously, i started to get all shakey! sooo, looks like i'll be at the show! i have NO idea what the particulars are yet but i know i'm taking my friend :) (i'm fearful to even post this because of past reaction on my JM luck.)

Kendra, You are the luckiest damn person in the world, I swear! Take me, pllllleeease. (just kidding) (A 38 yr old soccer mom is the last person a. John would want to meet and b. the last person you'd want with you.....dullsville! :() I am completely jealous but also very excited for you! Lotsa details are expected, as well as pics. Tell him how much he is loved here and to come and visit sometime!!!! :D Have a blast!

this IS pure luck. totally random. maybe my entry helped a little but speaking of, it wasn't that detailed. i put that Belief was my current favorite. i said it was from the upcoming CD Continuum. talked a little about the lyrics and how they're gripping. i then just mentioned Wheel. and quoted it. PURE CHEESE. but it worked!! that's all i had to do! Lem, you already know my excitement. she was the 3rd person i called. only my mom and aunt was before her. i'll do my best to take pictures and conversation, i'm fearful i'll clam up...i know i will! i also don't want to be "that fan" that is nagging for pictures and i for sure won't be asking for an autograph. i have 2 i don't need 3.
