I don't play guitar but I love it to death and can't wait to learn. I also sing and write my on stuff. *I'm gonna be famous someday* :)

I play guitar, bass-guitar and a little piano. I took piano classes for more than 3 years, but it doesn't change the fact that I suck in it.

Anybody knows where I can get some online free sheetmusic from Ben Folds? I'm not so good at the whole play by hear/ear thingy...

I live with a guy who makes music with gas. No, not classical gas. Just gas. Unfortunately, I am not the landlord and cannot evict him. He's too heavy, my brother.

I play guitar - it's been seven years and I finally decided to take lessons (music college in Jazz/pop) I sing i can play drums as well (everytime get access to one i play as long as the owner of the drum is not around. i got strong at that instrument) I can play Bass I know my scales on piano but i'm not used to that instrument even though I love to do simple chord progressions (ii-V-I s and stuff) and sing outloud . fool around with the cello, trumpet, violin etc.. (my big sis used to bring weird instruments home and i would try them all ) that's about it hehe Evens

I've been Guitariging (heh, me and my verbs) for... 4ish years? Maybe 5. I never took a lesson and I'm kind of regretting it because I haven't gotten much better, but I just like playing to relax myself. I've got tiny, tiny hands so I stay far away from bar chords and complicated tabs. :D I've been playing Piano since I could walk... not well, mind you. I took lessons for a couple of years but I never actually learned anything. I hate standard notation but I've got a really good ear for music. Both my mom and my grandma play piano by ear and I was genetically lucky. If I want to play a song, I'll sit down at our piano and pick out the tune, adding other things as they come along. Then comes singing... I've probably been singing on pitch since before I could talk. I'm a pitch nazi... I was classically trained for a couple of years. But my voice teacher wanted me to do Opera and I wanted to do Musical Theater, so I quit. It's not that I don't like opera, it's just that I don't want to perform it. I'd much prefer "Guys and Dolls" over "Carmen". Nowadays, I just do scales (or not...) and study voice privately for auditions for the school plays. I'm a mezzo-soprano, meaning that I've got a pretty high and pretty low range. I tried flute and failed miserably because I refuse to read notes (I'm stubborn). I can still play it a bit though. :)

Voice. I started lessons when I was thirteen (kinda) and I really wanna do something in the music buisness. But, I probably won't do voice. I went to school for music production.

I just bought an electric guitar!?!?!?! I'm so excited. What's funny is I have been considering this for sometime now. I have always loved music and it's an integral part of my existance. I've played the violin, viola, and cello. I have been playing the cello for 13 years now! I was in chorus for first grade thoguh high school. I've wanted to learn piano, bass guitar, and clarinet. Ok. The funny part about all of this: my friends decided last Friday we should start a band. Juast for fun, but it was so random. We have been playing Guitar Hero and most of us have been in band, private music lessons or chorus and all love music. We thought that it would be funny and cool to do. Right then and there we delegated who would be guitar, bass, and drums. Oh and Jackie is a pianist so maybe we will have a keyboardist too.... I was chosen lead singer by defualt since I have been in chorus forever and I sign along to the radio non-stop. I am also either lead guitar or rhythm, but Christina and I may switch off. Jackie and I write poetry so I assume we will write the lyrics... This is insane and so exciting. To be a part of an orchestra is one thing. But to be a part of a band, a group of your closest friends and create music, that is truely incredible. I will post pics of my children and the newest edition when it gets delivered. Does anyone have any advice or tips for a group of crazy girls and one's boyfriend?

Home Wife- 11-06-2006

I can't give you any tips because I am not musical  But congrats on your new guitar and band...sounds fun! I am really proud of my kids though....they are getting really good at piano, making up for their mom's lack of music skills :D

I just bought an electric guitar!?!?!?! I'm so excited. I will post pics of my children and the newest edition when it gets delivered. IT IS OUT FOR DELIVERY!!!!! I'm waiting with baited breath for the FedEx truck! I have to say I love eBay, FedEx and UPS. Dude. I can't contain myself! I know the rest of the day will be wasted now because I'll run to the door everytime I hear a large vehicle. I also know that we don't usually get our deliveries until around 5pm, we are towards the end of their runs..... I'm still hoping it my amp and guitar get here sooner rather then later.... :D :x
