san diego - 10 after 12 over here.. i'll probably be turning in soon - mayer music always keeps me awake. i feel like i have to sleep but i keep wanting to listen to songs.. then all of a sudden it's 1am and i've just been staring at my computer screen singing along lol

Yeah I hear you, I'm hoping it's going to help put me to sleep tonight instead of keeping me awake, stuff got me depressed today and I can't stop thinking about it, so I'm listening to misc tracks, and practicing Daughters on my guitar. It's helping, but I'm still up, but ah well

aw i once dreamt i could play daughters on the guitar.. what an amazing feeling. my roommate is trying to learn some mayer tunes (st patty's day, daughters) but she's still a beginner, so i hear some familiar chords sometimes but never a full melody i can actually sing along to haha

Yeah, I haven't been playing for very long, a couple of months or so, but it feels very different to play part of a song instead of just listen to it, and incidentally, it also makes me respect my favorite guitarists alot more, lol
