I made 3 poems/lyric things last week.
#1 Schoolproject, I had to made an poem about Light but I mixed it with a few Keane lines about light.
Sometimes your life is ruled by dark times
A darkness that never ends
You hope that someone will help you out
You feel like a toy that is broken
A record everyone’s tired of
Just shine, shine, shine, shine a little light
To make me feel loved
Shine a light on my life
And Warm me up again
Time will help you out, they say
But you don’t know for sure
Time will make those feelings fade
The key that once was broken
And never was repaired
The key is now finally fixed
And the lock is finally opened

Since I know you my life is so much better
Even the whole world looks like a better place to me
I never thought that I’d say the words I said
‘Cause I am the woman with the heart of ice
Now the Ice has melt away
And I’m feeling Ok
I’m a whole different person then I used to be
I just don’t know myself anymore
Or maybe I never did
I wonder if it’s positive to change someone just the way you did
All the people I met in the last few days
They all wondered what the hell was wrong with me

Let me fall asleep
Let me have those beautiful dreams
Of a wonderful world
Where everyone is nice and pretty
Just let me dream
Dream of a world where no one ever feels unwanted
Just the way I do
I wish that I could fly away
Fly as high as I can go
As high as anyone can go
Let me sleep
Let my thoughts fade away and all the bad things too
And let no one feel so angry
Just the way I do
I am dreaming of a wonderful world
Where no one feels sad and lonely
And where everyone is nice and pretty
Where the sun shines or the snow falls down when you want to
A world without poverty
Just let me dream...
