Both Boston and NH show came at the same time and they are nice tickets, I didn't know what to expect when ordering from his site, I've never done it before, but they are cool looking |

The show was amazing! The whole day was amazing! The meeting was perfect. He remembered me, and made some cute little comment about how I have "got a collection of pictures going there" or something.
It's been a good week!
Kristen, John and I!

aww Mel that is such a great picture and fool is wearing the Yankee hat but he made up for it during the show when he wore the Red Soxs hat..LOL For those who was not lucky to be there he wore a Red Sox hat at the end of the show because he said he got yelled at for wearing a Yankee's hat in Red Sox territory ..LOL Now I could care less, sports to me is nothing but I do know its a rule you don't want to be caught wearing a Yankees hat around here or you're asking for a ass whipping
I don't even know how I can write up a review, I just don't know how, the show was just mind blowing. I came home and I have to admit I was really overwhelmed I didn't know what to do with myself. I just kinda walked around like oh...my..god..what the hell just happened. I know he's a gifted guitar player but F- man how he plays like that is just mind blowing, that's all I can say about John is mind blowing. I mean I couldn't breath during most of this show its like you just stand there watching him and you forget to breath *faints*
Set List, pretty much same as Boston just a few different ones
Belief
Bigger Than My Body
I Don't Trust Myself (With Loving You)
Good Love is On the Way (I was sad he didn't play heart of life, I was really hoping he would play BUT this made up for it, you have no idea how much I love this song, no idea)
No Such Thing
Gravity
Why Georgia
Vultures
Neon ( OMG I can't believe he played this I thought I was going to shit myself lol
Dreaming With A Broken Heart (I love every one of his songs but damn is this song fucking good live)
I Don't Need No Doctor
Waiting on the World to Change
-- encore --
Slow Dancing (acoustic) (holy shit is all I can say)
Your Body is a Wonderland (acoustic) ( HAHA WONDERLAND WHAOOO lol)
I'm Gonna Find Another You
Hearing most of those songs a second time was amazing. Once again he was very talkative which was nice, he was cracking some pretty funny jokes, even joking how he spent time in Manchester applying for jobs..LOL There was more signs at this show, a lot were pretty cool. For a smaller arena then Boston this one really had a lot of energy, which I've been to a lot of shows at that arena but for some reason that was the most energetic crowd I have seen. Again I have seen a lot of rock shows but John is just play bad ass. period.
I'll have pictures up soon, I have to fix most of them, for some reason they came out darker then the Boston ones but I'll have some up in a few.
BTW Mel I was behind you, like a few rows back, I was going to come up and say Hi but I never got the chance. I don't know if I could speak anyway I kinda lost my voice If you heard this crazy ass screaming behind you when the crowed was silence that was probably me
EDIT- OMG I also forgot to mention where my seats were, I was CLOSER then the Boston show, I thought for some reason I was more father back but holy shit I was right up there |

Aw, I was looking around for you Steph, but I was a little out of it. Still basking in the afterglow! lol. The show was amazing. He was chatty and fun! I am still trying to figure out if that living in Manch bit was BS or not. And if so, when? haha, oh well. I suppose we'll never know!
I'm sufftering from withdrawal already, and it's bad. Sort of pathetic I guess! Le Sigh.
It was so fun to see him so close to home! |
