Honestly that is NOT a bad spot at all, 50,000 copies sold in its first week, that's pretty good for someone who's fans still are listening to him inspite his music change.

| But still, I thought it would've ended up higher... HT did make it to #1 spot the first week, or didn't it? |

but it was pretty mainstream, it was a john solo album, and it had BTMB as its single.. i guess those are some of the reasons what can you say? ppl are dumb. haha - i mean, who would choose system of a down over jm??? 8) |

You can't really compare HT to Try, first of all HT was WAY more mainstrem, he was just coming out of Room For Squares, he was still doing his normal "John" thing. Try is totally not that, i think he did loose alot of fans or maybe fans just isn't ready for Try that's why even though its John it wasn't higher.
Again 34 is not a bad spot at all, it might go higher who knows. But like i said being that is his first album with brand new stuff with a new band, thats still a pretty good number. |

| I think it's OK. John probably knew that it was gonna be like that. |

Yeah, I totally agree with you. Anyway, I'm with everyone.. Heavier Things was definitely more mainstream.. we'll probably see Contiuum debut at a higher number because he'll have a single out and there will be more hype in general. (Eventhough there's plenty of love for the Trio in this forum ). |
