well that's what I do, i'm a musician. just forgot to say hello to everyone here. I'm sorry. I guess that forum is more well manered than Msm. I just tought this part of the forum was made for tha kind of advertisment, people looking for critique.
My name is Evens(almost stating the obvious there  ) , I'm from Joliette (Montreal suburb), Canada. I'm 22 years of age, I like John's music a lot , really. In the same style, adult contemporary (uh.. makes me feel old to be associated with that style.. its like they categorized it that way to make sure teenagers wouldnt like it), i like Damien Rice, Jason Mraz, James Blunt, Teddy Geiger, Daniel Powter, Cold Play, Kaine, Teitur and many others. I also like rap (Atmosphere, beastie boys, arsonists, eyedea(this guy hates john lol) and many others.) , Jazz(wes montgomery, diana krall, pat metheny, norah jones,scott henderson) , soul/RnB (joss stone, remy shand, Kyle riabko, N.E.R.D,) , everything Motown, i also listen to punk rock (that's what's gotten me into music: Bad Religion, Nofx, Blink, thrice, A Wilhelm scream) and emo(The Get Up kids (amazing band), Dashboard Confessional, Saves The Day, Death Cab for Cutie), and that's about it..
I have a college degree in Fine Arts. Just started a degree in music
because i couldnt understand john's chords and they sounded so great i knew i would have to learn to read and write music, and by the meanwhile become a better guitarist/singer
so who are you, pictureframers? mostly girls? boys? what are your occupations?

I'm also a musician (aspiring, I suppose), so I understand. I just like to make newbies go beyond adverts, I suppose. =P
Very wide ranging taste you have there, though I suppose I do too. Some good stuff listed. I'll check your recordings out soon. (:
And to answer your question, I'm male, and my name is Gary. (I'm 20.) My occupation ... well recently I was teaching chess a few days a week at primary schools, and working nightfill at a store. Those, however, are my 'money jobs', to support music. They are a necessity for living such an expensive hobby. I'm sure you know this all too well.
Good luck with that music degree, I think that's great. I considered a degree in music, but have so far decided it as being unnecessary for an aspiring songwriter/performer/(singer!!?).
