Do you guys have a fav place to read.. or moment, time of day (or night).. do you need to be in a certain mood..

for me. if it's a book i am actually into i can read anywhere, anytime car, couch, bench, bus, etc...
one for school forced to read.. very very rare occasions i actually want to .at night in bed (make me more sleepy) . .etc.. how do you get motivated to read books ?!

Sometimes I'll read in bed, but usually when I finally have time to sleep I'm out. My favorite place to read is up in the Adirondack Mountains, up at my grandparents' lake house. The BEST place to read is on our dock, on the 'beach', the sandy shore on the other side of the lake, on one of the porches, or in a kyak, floating across the lake. Every summer I take my Harry Potter series and required reading for school up there and tear through books like you would not believe. Unfortunately, when I get back home its hard to read because I don't have the peaceful atmosphere to focus on.

(where the birds was filmed) in the house overlooking a lake..etc.. that was heaven... the atmosphere was fabulous I find that here without a serene place to put my mind clear.. i can't focus, or remember what i read, and get distracted EASILY ... aka aim, internet, myspace.. oy vey

Reading in class is always a pain for me unless I have music, b/c otherwise, I hate people talking and making noise while I'm trying to read, and kids these days do NOT know how to shut the f-k up.

If I'm reading for fun, I can read just about anywhere. If I'm reading for a class, I can do it in my dorm only if I unplug every distraction (TV, Computer, stereo, etc.). But, that's too much to do. That's why there are libraries for me to use. Too bad I don't.
