Now that they're almost over....has anyone been following the Olympics? Any favorite sports/athletes? We've been watching pretty closely at our house...my daughter has become a big Shaun White fan so I've been taping all his tv appearances for her while she's in school |

I've watched some, but not as intently as past years.
I can't believe some of the Team USA members are "hot-dogging" it and screwing up. They should be a little more serious, it is an honor to be in the Olympic games.
I might watch some of the figure skating. The guys are insane with there quadruple whatevers. The go all out with stuff. I also find the costume and song choice hilarious at times.
I'm more of an X-games event watcher, but I missed the pipe and snowboardding stuff because of a huge project I had due.
It's nice that you tape stuff for your daughter, do you have any favorites? |

Hehehe... my kind of sort of maybe not really ish boyfriend who lives 1000+ miles away (god bless Jewish Youth Retreats) could pass as his slightly shorter, blue-eyed twin. I saw Shaun on TV and was like OOOH EEMMM GEEE what is HE doing there!!?
He's cute though... I like flying tomatoes!!
Apparently, he was on TRL today. I was in NYC and my brother said he saw him when he walked by the MTV building. *shrug*
But... in general... I am so bored by the Olympics... I'm not into watching sports, but I do think that occasionally the ice skating can be really lovely. Oh, and who thinks that curling or whatever its called is possibly the dumbest thing in the world? |

Yes, Shaun was on TRL today... I taped it for my daughter...and he was on Martha Stewart too My daughter also thinks he looks like someone she knows!
I'm not usually into sports, but I've always loved the Olympics. The winter ones especially. I have to admit that I am getting a little tired of it after a week and a half though. I like speed skating, and I'm excited to see the rest of the women's figure skating tomorrow. But I agree about the curling, it looks pretty dumb.
And YAY for the Canadians |

| I think that curling is possibly the greatest game in the world. Not just because Canada has just won the men's curling gold and the women's curling bronze. I have played, its an awesome fun game! Come on now! |
