Hello there! I've been lurking around the forum for a few weeks now and finally decided to join. Happy

I am a new John fan. I've been listening to his music for just about a month. Pathetic, right? I wish I had heard his music sooner. He's just amazing in so many ways. Right now I'm anxiously waiting for Try! which I order off the internet. Any day now, any day now. Big Grin

I was lucky enough to see the Trio in Tempe. They were great, though I didn't get to see their whole performance. Unfortunately I have such a crummy camera and wasn't able to take any pictures. x.x I see that some of you guys have posted some great pictures, though. They're just awesome. ^^

Anyways, I'll shut up now. I look forward to getting to now you all. ;)

Hey Sukiara, I'm Evan, and I greatly envy you for getting to see the Trio live Laughing

You're probably going to love Try!, it's definitely at the top of my favorite albums list, and I'm sure Continuum will be up there when it's released

Hi I'm Marissa. Welcome to the board. Let any of us know if you have a question about John or his music. It's so cool that you got to see him in Tempe (I was there too) and that you found his music.

Quick replies tonight! I love it. < 33

Hey there Evan. Nice to meet you. Happy I'm sure I'll love Try!. I'd love anything John does. I've heard a few songs from it and they're all wonderful. At least there is an upside to me getting into his music this late- I'll have tons to hold me over until Continuum. =)

Nice to meet you Marissa. ;) You saw him in Tempe also? Very, very cool. And thank you so much. Such helpful people here. ^^

On a side note, I made a bunch of avatars today and they're all 100x100. o.0 I should have looked at what the limit was. Razz Lol. Silly me.

Tempe was one of the best shows that I've seen. I'm guessing it was your first time seeing him... If it was, that was a great show to have as your first.

Yup, it was my first time seeing him. ^^ I don't have anything to compare it to (obviously), but I also thought it was amazing. It just fueled my respect and appreciation for both him and his music even more. =D

Hopefully I'll get another chance to see him when he tours for Continuum.

Thanks for the great welcome, everyone. *feels loved* Love It's nice to meet you all. =)

I have a quick question that one of you will hopefully be able to answer for me. I see that many people have avatars that are 100x100 in size. I made a few yesterday and tried to upload one through my profile. I got an error message stating that the size limit for avatars is 80x80. Now Suki's a bit confused. Why? If someone could clear this up for me it would be much appreciated. ^^

Try using the "link to off-site avatar" and copy the URL from photobucket...that's how I always do it and it works just fine. I've never tried it the "upload" way Confused

I just tried both ways (to check to see if I was going crazy =P), and I got an error message for each one. x.x
Thank you for your help, though. =)

EDIT: I was just messing around with the board styles, to see if that had anything to do with it. After changing to 'Avalanche' I was able to use a 100x100 size avatar. Yay!

I haven't been at on at all lately. I've been lost in the worlds of both Try! and Any Given Thursday. Big Grin Lol.

Nice to meet you, Kiya. ;) Four years certainly is quite awhile. I wish I had got into his music sooner. I feel like I'm so behind and have missed so much.
